The title of the module draws on the theme of individual uniqueness and the impact it can have in the workgroup.

This module provides insight to the fact that every person relates to the world differently than you, and vice versa. Individual uniqueness can have significant impact, provided that it is given the opportunity to be realized, demonstrated and validated. Attendees will see that each of us has unique insights that can be shared with the rest of us, to the benefit of all of us.

There is no need to "walk a mile" in each other’s shoes, just give everyone the opportunity to demonstrate how truly "innovative" they can be… and already are.

GOAL:
Resolve organizational conflict.

Whether the discord is between 2 people or an entire organization, we provide the methods to enable self-resolution. Organizations will transform themselves from Stovepipes-to-Engines.

DETAILS:
In traditional workgroup environments, team members are encouraged to provide ideas and opinions. They may even be exhorted to suggest unusual and outlandish ideas and opinions.

This module enables everyone to understand the difficulty of operating in a workgroup such as this. For starters, ideas and opinions are very personal, i.e. attack my ideas and you attack me.

A workgroup environment that is based on insight and observation has the benefits, probably more, but it does not get personal.

The term "workgroup" can be applied to a team of people as few as two in number. If two or more people have a shared or common objective, it is incumbent upon them to reach an optimum solution that each agrees with and for which each has ownership.

Conflict and inefficiency arise when the workgroup dynamics are focused on ideas and opinions. There is a better way!
